VANCOUVER, Wash.–August 6, 2014—Columbia Ultimate,an expert in technology and integrated solutions for the collection industry, announced today the addition of a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) session to the 2014Art of Success conference, to be held Sept. 15-19 at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront in Portland, Oregon. Scott Steckel, from the CFPB Office of Consumer Response, will lead the session focused on consumer complaints and provide attendees an overview of the CFPB complaint process.

During the session, Steckel will cover the CFPB’s process for complaint notification, as well as recent changes that may affect internal processes and procedures for debt collection agencies within the accounts receivable management (ARM) industry.

The CFPB session, titled “Consumer Complaints: An Overview of the CFPB Complaint Process and Company Portal,” will be held on Wed., Sept. 17 from 10:00-10:50 a.m.
